The 2017 Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association Annual Meeting & Symposium weekend will begin with a pre-conference session on movement impairment and corrective exercises. This EBP-CE event is on Friday at 10:00am and is in addition to the Annual Meeting with proceeds to benefit the Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Political Action Committee.  General sessions begin on Friday at 1:00pm.  There will be an opportunity for CPR Renewal at 4PM (additional fee). ***Please note that these programs require a separate registration that can be found here***

 

Topics at the 2017 Annual Meeting & Symposium include:

  • Psychological perspectives of the injured athlete,
  • Articular cartilage injuries,
  • The use of supplements among physically active individuals,
  • Evaluation and management of osteoarthritis in the hand,
  • Lumbo-pelvic-hip injuries, multidisciplinary screenings,
  • Documentation and associated legal issues
  • Update from the 5th International Consensus Conference on Concussion in Sport

 

All MoATA award recipients will be recognized at the Honors and Awards Luncheon on Saturday, June 3.  More than 8 hours of CE available, with up to 3 hours EBP-CE
