A Call for Nominations

Posted on October 3, 2019 | | Leave a comment

Did you know?  Missouri has over 150 members who have been certified as athletic trainers for over 25 years?  That’s one of the criteria for induction into the MAATA Hall of Fame.  Induction into the MAATA Hall of Fame is the highest honor a member can receive. Inductees are recognized for their outstanding contributions in areas of service to the local region, state, or nation; education patient care; research; and leadership.

Other awards include:

MAATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award (BoC certified 20+; 15 in District 5);

MAATA Athletic Training Service Award (BoC certified 15+; 10 in District 5)

Dr. Denis Izzy Isrow Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Award;

The Denise Fandel Award for Advocacy and Diversity:

MAATA Athletic Training Educator of the Year Award

For more details and to nominate a colleague, visit the MAATA Honors and Award page. Applications are accepted September 15- October 15.  Supporting documentation is due November 15.
