Athletic training is practiced by athletic trainers, health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities. March events March is National Athletic Trainers' Month! Have a High School Student who is interested in Athletic Training? William Woods University 5th Annual High School Athletic Training Student Workshop is March 3, 2012 Washington University School of Medicine will hosted their Annual St. Louis Soccer Conference on March 3, 2012 beginning at 8:00 am.
