Bio:

This presenter currently holds the rank of Professor at a large public university for a state in District 5. The presenter teaches courses for different programs in the university’s health care college; one of the programs is an accredited graduate professional athletic training program. The presenter’s scholarship pursuits include specialty certifications, clinical decision making, and professional ethics. The presenter has served, or is currently serving, as chair for various university and professional committees and councils with policy-influencing authority in the areas of specialty certifications, governmental affairs, professional ethics, and academic programing. Finally, the presenter has practiced as an intern or a licensed athletic trainer in the outpatient clinic, secondary school, university athletic, and professional sport settings.
