• Bio:

  Mikel Cox is an experienced Athletic Trainer with over a decade of work in rehabilitation and return-to-sport performance for both athletes and general populations. He currently serves as a Clinical Lead at Mercy Sports Medicine, where he oversees department operations while designing individualized rehab and strength programs rooted in movement-based and neurodevelopmental principles. Mikel has a strong track record of guiding patients safely back to high levels of function, combining evidence-based practice with practical performance training. In addition to his clinical work, he has continued to be involved with teaching the future Athletic Training professionals at Missouri State University and brings expertise in program development and interdisciplinary care.
