Natalie Allen MEd, RDN, LD

Education:

BS in dietetics from Missouri State University, Dietetic Internship Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University Medical Center, Masters in Education from University of Missouri. 

Natalie has a background in clinical, community and sports dietetics.  She started her career at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO working clinically with patients to improve their health through diet.  She has also worked as a curriculum writer and educator for St. Louis schools, has been a face and voice of dietetics in the media, and consults with various sports teams on nutrition.  Her sports nutrition experiences span 20 years and she has worked with athletes of all abilities, from Special Olympians to professional athletes.  Natalie has been a speaker at numerous national conferences and emphasizes the importance of making nutrition information practical. 

 

Natalie currently is a clinical associate professor at Missouri State University.  She teaches Medical Nutrition Therapy labs and Sports Nutrition.  She is also the dietitian for the Bears, helping 400 student athletes reach their peak performance through nutrition.
